Lasallian Projects (formerly Lasallian Developing World Projects) is a charity with over 35 years experience, dedicated to supporting communities by providing them with new and functional educational facilities.
Our goal is simple. We aim to give young people in developing areas the opportunity to succeed in life, through our international school building projects.
We give young people in the UK the chance to take part in our 5-week projects which run from July to August. Our volunteers stay within the local communities and this provides them with the experience to develop an understanding of different cultures, to support those in need, learn new skills and make life-long friends. See the projects page to learn about the programmes we are running next year.
The projects are made up of teams of 10-12 people with two experienced members from previous projects. The cost for going on a project is currently £1700 including flights and accommodation. For more information about the project structure and applying for one our projects see the Apply for a project page.
We are considerably cheaper than most other organisations carrying out a project of this length and scale. In order to keep the costs of our projects low, we rely on the generous donations of previous volunteers and those who wish to support our cause.
Through our long history carrying out work abroad we have made a huge impact on the local communities we have worked with, and the experiences provided from our projects have had a life lasting impact on our previous members.
Lasallian Projects relies on donations to fund out vital work. You can find out more about supporting us.
