Thank you for choosing to donate to Lasallian Projects. Whilst the donations from participants make a large contribution to projects, they don’t cover the entire cost of a project. We rely on donations and fundraising activities from supporters of the charity.

Cost of Items
Below are the costs of items when building a school:
- £6 buys a bag of cement for a classroom floor.
- £9 buys a sheet of corrugated iron for roofing.
- £10 buys 20 stone blocks to build classroom walls.
- £11 funds bricks and mortar for a square metre of walling.
- £40 buys a single steel classroom door.
- £60 buys a steel framed glazed window for a classroom.
- £115 provides electric wiring for a large classroom.
- £975 buys a whole new family house in RTU, India.
- £6,900 buys a whole three classroom roof structure in Uganda.
A whole classroom can cost between £4,000 and £8,000 depending on area.
